a week agoWe got a room with the Sarapiqqui river view. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I loved the location since it is between the forests. The staff were friendly. Food you have limited choice - the one served in the hotel is average. Overall experience was great.

2 months agoThe place is wonderful - you can sit on you own porch in front of your very clean and spacious room or in the restaurant and watch birds, lizards and all wild life that lives in the area. The place is set up in nature in an absolutely eco friendly way! There is a relaxing pool and wonderful tours to learn about wild life. We especially recommend the night tour which is equally educational as enjoyable. The local guides are so so so knowledgeable, friendly and try everything - without disturbing nature - to find the type of animal or plant you long to see. A wonderful experience to all of us! Absolutely recommended!!!!

2 weeks agoPerfect room, hotel right inside the jungle, an extraordinary experience. We took a night jungle tour too (ask at the reception) straight in the hotel’s backyard which was a special add-on. Breakfast was OK but suitable for a 3* hotel, and the rest makes up for it.

5 months agoWe were here with 4 people, the room was big enough. There was AC, which was very nice. The beds are much more comfortable than other hotels. The douche was very nice and big. The room was also very clean. You don't hear any noise from outside that is very nice for people who don't sleep very well. Breakfast was quite disappointing. There weren't a lot of options. And it was quite basic, nothing special. The location is wonderful. The hotel is in the middle of the jungle. The pads were covered, so when it rains, you don't get wet. We also saw a lot of birds and butterflies. I would really recommend this hotel.

9 months agoI was amazed by how close we could get to nature, despite being just a few hours away from San Jose. During the night tour, we were able to observe the nocturnal animals such as basilisks, tarantulas, and working ants. On the early morning tour, we saw sloths, toucans, rare birds, and even rubber trees. It was a truly satisfying experience, and I'm in awe of the tour guides' knowledge and their ability to quickly spot animals. The hotel staff were also very kind. It was very convenient that they setting a water dispenser near each room. We didn't have any trouble with getting enough water. We also had the opportunity to try Costa Rican cuisine during the buffet dinner and breakfast. The food was delicious, especially the fresh fruits which were absolutely amazing.
