After spending almost a month in Costa Rica in January of this year this was one of my very favorite lodges that we stayed in. It sets just off the road but it's in the rainforest and your lodging is right in the middle of all the flora and fauna, it's gorgeous back in there. The rooms were really nice, the place was very well kept and the food was totally amazing to say the least! Lot's of wildlife in these forests so get ready to explore. A couple of times a day behind the restaurant they put out plantains and feed the birds so people can get photographs of all the toucans that come in and all of the beautiful gorgeously colored birds. One day while we were sitting there bird watching a deer walked up to the feeding station, it was pretty cool but he kind of looked out of place, he didn't bother any of the birds or they didn't bother him so they just all mix and mingle I loved hiking in these forests. Lots of photos to see so enjoy ☺️

spacious room, good dining if choose full boarding. I like the water station and shoe clean stations around the property. has feeder for birding. the guided birds tour can improve, we don't see many uncommon birds. 不错,房间大,吃得挺好。

The place is wonderful - you can sit on you own porch in front of your very clean and spacious room or in the restaurant and watch birds, lizards and all wild life that lives in the area. The place is set up in nature in an absolutely eco friendly way! There is a relaxing pool and wonderful tours to learn about wild life. We especially recommend the night tour which is equally educational as enjoyable. The local guides are so so so knowledgeable, friendly and try everything - without disturbing nature - to find the type of animal or plant you long to see. A wonderful experience to all of us! Absolutely recommended!!!!

We got a room with the Sarapiqqui river view. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I loved the location since it is between the forests. The staff were friendly. Food you have limited choice - the one served in the hotel is average. Overall experience was great.
