a month agoMy wife and I had an awesome stay here. We were there for 2 nights and 3 days and the hosts really made sure we maximized our time and were happy. They answered all the silly questions we had and helped organize water taxis for our trips. The breakfast and dinner in the dining room was a very pleasant experience every day. The snorkeling gear, kayaks, and paddle boards kept a us busy whenever we had a free moment. I would definitely go back here

7 months agoMy wife and I just spend 9 spectacular days at Akwaba Lodge to celebrate our anniversary. This place is just amazing. The French family that runs the lodge really made our stay unforgettable. The food was excellent, the service and attention to details was just perfect. We brought our own boat and they had a safe dock space for us. Their kids loved to clean our boat too. So thank you and we will come again and will recommend your place to all our friends.

10 months agoBeautiful place! We loved our stay here. Some highlights: kayaking over sea stars and jellyfish, a tour to Isla Zapatilla that included snorkeling, a beautiful beach, and a lovely meal right over the water (this cost extra money, but it was well worth it to have our own private tour guide -- Manuel was great!), and the amazing location. I would highly recommend!

8 months agoI stayed here with my family for a few days. Despite the fact that there is no air conditioning in the rooms, it was an unforgettable experience. The French family that runs the guesthouse are wonderful, very kind, we felt at home. They prepared a delicious breakfast and dinner, they were responsive to any request we had. The surroundings are wonderful, you are in the middle of nature. I recommend without reservations, and if we ever come to Bocas del Toro again, we will definitely go to this place again.
